I'm Patricia Wells

I'm an educator, historian, and storyteller. I take great pleasure in sharing my love of history with anyone who will listen. To my delight, my listeners frequently invite me back and recommend my programs to others.

Since retiring I have become deeply involved in researching local history and some of my favorite subjects – the Pilgrims, the White House, New Jersey's Great Swamp, the American Revolution, and gutsy historical women.

A life-long learner, I have always loved science and history.
Science guided my professional life; I practiced and taught Nuclear Medicine Technology. Post retirement, I have indulged in all things history.

Since 1967, my family has lived in the Noe-Miller Farmstead, circa 1750, in Chatham Township, New Jersey. You know you're living history when one of your fireplace hearths disappears into the basement three days before an open house tour.

History is never dull! It's a series of fascinating stories.
May I tell one for you?
